Dear Alumni, 

 

You might be well aware that our Journal (JMGIMS) for which our beloved  Behenji desired during silver jubilee year of our institute (1994),  was started in 1995, under the editorship of Late Dr. VN Chaturvedi, then Prof & Head ENT and since then it is being published without any interruption. It is all due to wholehearted support from the management and positive support from our faculty members.  We also have some support from our alumni.

              

It is a pleasure to inform you that the Journal is also entering its 25th year by Jan’2020.

​We intend to increase the frequency of publication from twice a year to four times a year but it's possible only if there are enough articles so that all the issues can be published without any interruption. 

​

We request all our alumni in India and abroad and we ask you to contribute your articles for the journal. We should also contact our acquaintances even if they are not alumni in the same respect. For review or editorial, we can also provide the specific topics in consultation with the editorial board of the journal.

            

The journal is presently indexed with -DOAJ, Index Copernicus, Indian Science Abstracts, IndMed, and MedInd.  It is also registered with abstracting partners—Baidu scholar, CNKI, Ebsco Publishing’sElectronic Database, EkLibris-Central, Google Scholar, Hinari, Infrotreive, National Science Library, ProQuest, TdNet, and Wanfang Data.

             

It needs to be indexed with other important indexing agencies like SCOPUS, and PUBMED. It requires that we have more members from abroad on our Editorial board and also more external reviewers. I feel our alumni working abroad may help us in this regard.
